- ‘Airwaves’ features nearly all Ike Turner originals whilst ‘Delilah’s Power’ is a mixture of Tine Turner compositions plus covers such as ‘I Want To Take You Higher’ and ‘Sugar Sugar’

- Philadelphia quartet The Showstoppers burst into the UK charts with their storming ‘Ain’t Nothing But A Houseparty’ on the fledgling Beacon Records label, reaching No.11
- All the tracks in this package are the subsequent follow-ups and b-sides that Beacon released during the next two years or so, some of which were produced by Biddu
- Though they were not hits, the songs have more than stood the test of time and deserve to be reissued (here on CD for the first time) as they are classic big British soul

- ‘Wildfire’ was a US Top 3 hit in 1975 from country singer/songwriter Murphey
- These two albums made the US Top 50 with ‘Blue Sky – Night Thunder’ in the charts for 38 weeks. ‘Carolina In The Pines’ from this package was also a Top 30 hit
- In recent years Murphey has concentrated on recording cowboy songs
