Review from Vintage Guitar magazine:

After auspicious straightahead jazz outings with Hank Garland and the Nashville All-Stars while still in his teens, vibist Burton formed one of the first (and best) jazz-rock groups, with guitarist Larry Coryell, bassist Steve Swallow, and drummer Roy Haynes. Coryell displays ample technique, with a heavier attack than most (sometimes reminiscent of Barney Kessel), ranging from blues bends to atonal assaults to lovely melodicism.
